Step by Step and Important Information
We are a Professional String Quartet however, if you are interested in having a different instrumentation for your event, we also offer the following: Solo Instrument, String Duo, String Trio and String Chamber Orchestra.
To organise and set-up the music for your event there are some things to have in mind and a few steps to follow:
1. What would you like?
We suggest that you think in advance what type of music and group formation you would like to have for your event (Wedding, Corporate party, Christmas party and if you want a String Quartet, a Duo, etc). If you have any questions in this regard, we can help you choose.
2. Indoors vs Outdoors
While performing indoors is ideal, especially for String Instruments, we also accommodate outdoor events, provided that certain requirements are met in order to protect our instruments and to have an effective performance. These requirements are important: weather conditions, temperature, humidity, shade coverage is imperative, etc. Please note that at the moment, we do not provide our own sound equipment which in a few cases is needed for optimal results.
3. To book your group:
You will receive an information letter and costs as well as a contract with a copy for your records. Please read the information and contract carefully, then sign a copy of the contract and mail it to us with proof of your non-refundable deposit. Your Non-refundable deposit will save the date and time for your event and this payment will count towards your total. The remaining balance will be due a week before the event unless is agreed otherwise.
4. The Music List:
You may use our music lists as a reference. If you need assistance, please feel free to contact us. You will be asked to select the music for your event, however we are very experiences and are happy to choose for you or assist you in the process. If there are songs you do not see in our lists and would like to request them, we ask you to provide the music scores or, give us at least one month’s notice to find and purchase the music on your behalf. If the arrangement is non-existence we can have an arranger write it for you.
Please be aware that the purchase cost of the music or arrangements will be added to your balance.
If your event is a Wedding, we suggest that you make a music selection for each of the following:
1. Entrance of guests
2. Entrance of the Bride
3. Unity Candle, Blessing of the Rings, Communion, First Kiss, Signing of the Marriage Certificate (all of these are optional during the Wedding Ceremony)
4. Exit of the Newly Weds
5. Exit of the Guests
5. What do we Need:
– Sufficient reading light
– Chairs with out arm rests
– Sun Cover in outdoor locations
– The exact address of the Venue
– A contact person available on the day of the Event
6. Pricing
Our Prices are very competitive and we do everything to make our customers happy. Our costs will be according to your individual needs and wishes and will vary depending on many different factors such as: Type of event, Duration of the event, Location, Additional hours, the size of the Musical Group (Duo, Trio, Quartet) etc. Please contact us and we will be happy to give you a quote.
