Violin

Alexander Stock is a member of the Graz Philharmonic Orchestra.
Born in Graz, he was accepted into the gifted program at the Graz University of Music and Performing Arts (KUG) at the age of seven. He later studied violin with Professors Klaus Eichholz and Yaïr Kless.
Two years before completing his violin studies, he was engaged as a second
violinist at the Graz Opera in 2000. In 2001, he moved to the first
violin section, where he has been section leader since 2006.
In 2004, he completed his degree in instrumental and vocal pedagogy with
distinction and has been teaching at the Köflach Music School since
2003.
Alexander Stock was a prizewinner at Jugend musiziert and participated in numerous summer courses. He gained orchestral experience with the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra and the Bavarian Radio Orchestra Academy.
Concert tours have taken him across Austria and internationally, including Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Bosnia, Spain, Japan, Korea, India, Malaysia, and the Philippines.
